Train up a child
in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not
depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). if you train up a
child in the way he should go, even when he’s old, he’ll
keep walking in it. There’s a difference between
training and teaching. A teacher tells what to do. A
trainer shows how to do it. “Follow me as I follow
Christ,” Paul would say (1 Corinthians 11:1). “Walk in
my footsteps. Do what I do.”

Parents, Dedicate, therefore, in the
first instance, your child to God; and nurse, teach, and
discipline him as God's child, whom he has entrusted to your
care. For early training secures habitual walking in it. Many
parents want to make all the choices for their child, but this
hurts him or her in the long run. When parents teach a child how
to make decisions, they don't have to watch every step he or she
takes. They know their children will remain on the right path
because they have made the choice themselves. Train your
children to choose the right way.
At International
Church our objective is to inspire and equip Kids and youths to
be established in the word of God, be passionate about prayer
and make maximum impact in their world through evangelism.
The Youth Meetings provide an opportunity for the children and
young people of the church to display their talents in a way
that will glorify God, and to have fun at the same time. The
youth perform songs, recite Bible verses, and partake in Bible
quizzes and games to build a solid foundation in the Lord. Youth
Ministry is held once monthly, during the last Saturday of each
month, at 4:00pm.
