And she brought forth her firstborn
Son, and wrapped Him
in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was
no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:7 (NKJV)

December
1 "A good man obtaineth
favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn"
(Proverbs 12:2).
When you reverence God and His Word, you
will obtain favor in the sight of God and man; no one will be
able to stop you.
December 2 "But I say
unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good
to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you, and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44).
Bless those who
curse and mistreat you. In doing so, you align yourself with
God's commandment to love your enemies and receive your
forgiveness from Him when you sin.
December 3
"Let all things be done decently and in order" (1 Corinthians
14:40).
Divine order is the prerequisite for miracles.
When you do things decently and in order, you position yourself
to receive God's blessings in your life.
December 4
"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye
continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed…" (John
8:31).
To be a disciple of Jesus means that you stay
rooted and grounded in His Word; you live by it.
December 5
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man
soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7).
Nothing
just happens. The seeds you sow in your life determine the type
of harvest you will receive. Make sure that you are sowing the
seed of God's Word into your heart.
December 6
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we
shall reap, if we faint not" (Galatians 6:9).
Don't ever
get tired of serving God and choosing His way instead of the
world's way. Rest assured that you will experience a great
reward from God if you don't give up.
December 7
"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who
can be against us?" (Romans 8:31).
Don't fear what other
people may say about you or try to do to you. When God is on
your side, nothing can come against you and succeed.
December 8
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and
be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (3 John 2).
True prosperity begins in your soul. When your thoughts are
prosperous, you will experience prosperity in every area of your
life, from your health to every areas of your life.
December 9
"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest
that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself
should be a castaway" (1 Corinthians 9:27).
When you
become disciplined and temperate in all things, you are able to
keep your body in subjection to your spirit and turn away from
indulging in fleshly lusts.
December 10 "He
that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of
understanding is of an excellent spirit" (Proverbs 17:27).
A wise person with an excellent spirit knows the importance
of keeping his or her mouth shut. It is better to do more
listening than talking.
December 11 "All
the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing
forward or perverse in them" (Proverbs 8:8).
It takes
discipline to keep your words in line with God's Word at all
times, but when you do, you ensure total success and victory in
your life.
December
12 "Be not overcome with
evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21).
By
keeping yourself in the love of God through prayer and
meditation in God's Word, you will be able to overcome the
attacks of the enemy and walk in authority over him.
December 13
"For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou
shalt be condemned" (Matthew 12:37).
Set a guard over
your mouth and watch what you say. Your words are powerful and
you will be held accountable for them.
December 14
"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is
the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when
ye turn to the left" (Isaiah 30:21).
God will direct your
every step when you trust Him and listen to His voice. You will
never be in the dark when you allow God to lead you. Obey Him
today!
December 15
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide
you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show
you things to come" (John 16:13).
If there is something
you need to know, or don't understand, ask the Holy Spirit to
give you the answer. He will reveal what you need to do to be
successful and He will reveal to you what is ahead.
December 16
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path"
(Psalm 119:105).
The Word of God is the light that will
illuminate your path in life. It will give you understanding and
insight in everything you set out to do.
December 17
"And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them,
and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice" (John 10:4).
Release your faith today for the ability to clearly hear
God's voice. He is your heavenly Father and desires to speak to
you personally. As His child, you must recognize His voice and
obey Him when He speaks to you.
December 18
"Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place
unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay,
saith the Lord" (Romans 12:19).
Don't hold grudges or try
to avenge yourself; leave that to God. He will make sure you are
vindicated.
December
19 "My little children,
let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed in
truth" (1 John 3:18).
Walking in love is more than lip
service. Do something specific to demonstrate your love for God
and others.
December
20 "Christ hath redeemed
us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it
is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree…"
(Galatians 3:13).
As a Christian, you are not subject to
the curse, which includes fear, sin, sickness, poverty and
oppression. Jesus paid the price for every benefit of God's
covenant for you—healing, deliverance, financial prosperity and
wealth, so that you could experience the fullness of His
promises.
December 21
"But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you
from evil" (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
When you make Jesus the
Lord of your life, He will establish you firmly in His promises
of protection and redemption.
December 22
"But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right
hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all
ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall
be heirs of salvation?" (Hebrews 1:13-14).
Your angels
are waiting for you to release them. Get them involved in your
situations by declaring God's Word. Command them to bring His
Word to pass.
December 23 "The Lord is
my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength,
in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation,
and my high tower" (Psalm 18:2).
Trust in the Lord to
protect you and keep you from the plans and plots of the enemy.
He will take care of you and shield you from the difficulties
you face.
December 24
"…Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth
greatly in his commandments" (Psalm 112:1).
When you make
God's Word your final authority, He promises to bless you. A
love for His commandments ensures that you will be empowered to
prosper in everything that you do!
December 25
"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to
you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the
prophets" (Matthew 7:12).
Treat others the way you want
to be treated, not the way you feel they should be treated.
December 26
"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed
abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us"
(Romans 5:5).
You have the ability to love others with
the love of God because the Holy Spirit resides in your heart.
Tap into this supernatural love by faith so that you can fulfill
the two greatest commandments—to love God with all your heart,
soul, mind and strength, and to love others as yourself.
December 27
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:
because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect
in love" (1 John 4:18).
If you have fear in your life, it
is an indication that you need to develop in the love of God.
When you do, fear will be cast out and you can life a torment
and stress-free life.
December 28
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the
world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27).
Peace is a part
of your salvation package as a child of God. When trouble comes
your way, don't allow it to affect your mind. Instead, meditate
on the peace that only Jesus can provide. As you do, the tension
and anxiety you experience will begin to melt away.
December 29
"Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your
wrath: Neither give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27).
Anger is an emotion that everyone will feel at some point.
The key is to not allow your anger to move you in the wrong
direction. Be swift to forgive others and if you are angry with
someone, quickly resolve the issue.
December 30
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and
of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).
Fear does
not come from God, but it comes from Satan. God has given you
power through His love. When you walk in the love of God, you
dismiss fear.
December 31 "Seeing ye
have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit
unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one
another with a pure heart fervently" (1 Peter 1:22).
Every time you obey God's Word, you purify your soul (your mind,
will and emotions). When you feel tempted to sin, ask the Holy
Spirit to give you the ability to do what is right. You will be
demonstrating not only your love for God, but for others as
well.
